Deux chambres, salle de bain, salon, cuisine, salle a manger, grand jardin a l'arriere, pres d'une ligne de tram (86 - via smith street) et de train (bell station) directes en direction de la city.
Elle est meublee, cosy et bien equipee dans une rue calme a Preston. Le coin est plutot residentiel mais pas loin de la branchitude de northcote et collingwood ou du preston market.
$1000 par mois plus factures.

Couple is looking for someone to rent out their second bedroom in their lovely house in Preston from the 1st of August. We an engineer (Rom) and an architect (Lillie) both working part time. We are both French and have been living in Melbourne for a long time. We will be away in august and September so we’re we are looking for someone we can trust. The right person would be reliable, warm, sociable, clean and wouldn’t mind sharing evenings around a good meal and a glass of wine. The house is not huge but is big enough for three people to live comfortably, we’ve tested it out before but Diane, our current flat mate is unfortunately leaving us early august to go back to her studies in France.

The room comes fully furnished with a queen size bed, a bedside table, a desk, a cupboard so all you need is basically your suitcase (we have bed linen, towels…). We are guessing that the situation would probably suit a short term resident, an intern, a student or a traveler looking to settle down for a while working a bit in Melbourne but we are open to suggestions. Couples welcome. We are directly connected to the city by the 86 tram (1min walk) or by train at bell station (5min walk).

Down to the practicalities: the rent is $1000 a month+bills and/or $180 per week after the 30th of september.
